KE is an Italian brand of luxury exterior shading technology. It was founded more than 30 years ago. All its products are completely manufactured in Italy to the last detail .
KE belongs to the wings of a large family-owned company manufacturing shading technology and components for this type of products. It is one of the largest producers and leaders in this market - the Italian BAT Group. It was founded more than 35 years ago and is still owned by Mr. Amorino Barbieri and his family.

The name KE is derived from the initial letters of the names of Mr Barbieri's daughters. The production group under the KE brand offers luxury shading technology of the highest class. The added value is the design and completely custom-made production.
As such, the BAT Group develops and manufactures systems and components for all types of awnings (balcony, open or cassette awnings, etc.) and other available types of exterior shading systems.

These include roller blinds but also pergolas - with roll-up roofs, pergolas with sliding roofs or, more recently, the so popular bioclimatic pergolas with tilting slats. It is the sophisticated custom-made bioclimatic pergolas, design cassette awnings, today's highly sought-after design retractable shading sails or even special custom-made shading structures that are marketed under the KE brand.

BAT and therefore KE use only their own components for the production of all their systems. This means that they manufacture and develop the individual parts in their own factories, so they have full control over quality and development. It is certainly interesting to note that other prestigious European manufacturers of shading technology also purchase components from the BAT Group and incorporate them into their finished products, but they only use the know-how, production quality and patents of the BAT Group. The fact that this family-owned company controls every step of the production process, including the purchase of input materials, was one of the reasons for us to choose KE as a partner for the sale of shading technology.
