This is a normal part of the planter's quality and is not a defect. The planters are not perfectly finished; small color differences or occasional different shades are not grounds for a complaint.

- Black planters lose their black color over time. The manufacturer recommends treating the planter 2-4 times per year with a special oil to maintain and restore the color, which is available for purchase in the accessories section.
