For outdoor use, a hole must be drilled in the flowerpot; for indoor use do not plant directly into the container (use a plastic liner - available for most flowerpots).
For better water drainage, we recommend purchasing a set of support feet.
The flowerpot has a double bottom, allowing it to be used as a tall planter trough.

Important - regarding quality:
Due to handmade production and demanding handling (especially for medium and large jumbo flowerpots), the flowerpots may have scuffs, minor or medium scratches. This is a normal part of the flowerpot's quality and not a defect. The flowerpots are not surface-perfect; small color deviations or slight color shading in places are not grounds for complaint.
