For outdoor use, a hole must be drilled in the pot, for indoor use do not plant directly into the container (use a plastic liner - available for most pots).
For better water drainage, we recommend buying a set of liner feet.
Black coloured pots lose their black colour over time. The manufacturer recommends painting the pots 2 to 4 times a year with a special oil to maintain and renew the colour, which can be purchased in the accessories section.

Important - ad.quality:
Due to handmade and heavy handling (especially applicable for medium and large jumbo pots), pots may have scuffs, minor or medium scratches. This is a normal part of the pot quality and is not a defect. Pots are not surface perfect, minor colour variations or different shades in places are not grounds for complaint.
